Col des Crosses Catching the Moon

I love the excitement of chasing the morning moon. I set off in the dark this morning hoping to position myself behind Aigle Castle for the moonset. I couldn't find the way into the vineyards behind it and the moon set before I could get into position. I raced up the hill again near home, and just managed a few shots towards the French border between Les Jumelles on the left, and the Grammont on the right. Blip done!

Tonight the whole Swiss family are being treated to a meal by youngest daughter-In-law, something to do with tokens earned at work. Aren't we lucky? Nexya will be on her own for the first time.
