Weather...
I left the office in Dunoon around 4.00 yesterday and it was just starting to rain in contrast to the beautiful weather earlier on, which I blipped just as it began to deteriorate.
By six o'clock at home we had already recorded almost 20 mm and it is still raining 24 hours later.
The wind also rose early yesterday evening and it was a wild night, with most of the ferries in Scotland either off or on warning of disruption this morning. And the trains which connect with the Dunoon ferry are not running from Gourock today and tomorrow because of some urgent repair work.
Even now, as the light fades here in Argyll, the mist is still low down on the hills and the rain is falling with renewed intensity.
