Lausanne 2020

The Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympics are now underway with the slalom and ski mountaineering races happening today. Both races are based in our ski area. Next weekend we will host the ski cross which is my favourite to watch: 4 skiers (or snow boarders) set off at the same time over ‘bumps’.

The photo shows one of many piste bashers on the slopes today preparing the ski cross course. It involves a lot of moving snow around.
