Pencils

Got up at my pace as no plumber this morning. Leisurely oo-la-la breakfast: toast, croissant and coffee before taking Murray for his walk.
Into town to purchase next book group book: Transcription by Kate Atkinson.  Also bought The Word Detective by John Simpson which investigates the origins of words- an interest of mine.
Popped into the art materials shop to purchase pencil sharpener.  Blip of a heavy brass one which is excellent!
Risotto tonight will try it with mushrooms, roasted chestnuts and rocket.
Other half (OH) went on one day First Aid course. Returned exhausted, this sort of learning is out of comfort zone, claimed had to have extra tuition with a few others of similar learning ability. 
On return OH while fetching glasses left blueberry muffin uncovered on plate. Returned to find hound had counter-surfed and snaffled.  Of course it's Murray's fault according to OH. ÷-))
