Next Month's Read

What a disgusting day weatherwise. Has it been this wet and windy in the rest of the country or is it just the Lakes living up to its reputation?
I collected the next batch of books from the library for our book club. Cumbria Library offer a fantastic service sending us 12 books every month, which saves us the hassle of buying our own or sourcing them individually from the library. The only downside is i) we have to be very organised once a year creating a wish list for the next 12 meetings and ii) we have to choose books from their list. All for the princely sum of £1.10/ month for the 12 copies. As chief organiser,  it does make my job very easy and I'm happy to put up with the restricted list.  They have 600+ to choose from, that will keep us going for a few years
