How much!?

We received a bulb catalogue which obviously is  aimed at specialist galanthophiles (snowdrop collectors to you and me).  This one at £120 per plant is one I will not be buying! I’m more than happy with the common snowdrops which are appearing all over our garden.
I spent some time cutting down last year’s growth of some of the perennials and weeding the border this morning. 
Then this afternoon I took myself off around the Goit Stock circuit before calling in on one of our bus pass walkers who has not been able to walk with us for a few weeks and then checking up on the elderly neighbour who was unwell last week. 
Finally had a long chat on the phone with an old friend who lives in Wiltshire and who was my boss  in my first job when I left college.
Always good to have a bit of time to do these things.
