New set of wheels.

Our younger son collected his new car yesterday evening and came over this morning in the pouring rain. A VW Golf GTD; it has all the modern performance and safety technology my car has, and much more - it’s very fine indeed. I’ll get a better look at it tomorrow, he’s coming back at lunchtime, and hopefully it’ll be dry. To think 6 years ago he was borrowing his mother’s car or getting lifts via dad’s taxi.

The rain cancelled his rugby match, so my wife and I stayed in and watched the Glasgow Warriors v Exeter Chiefs game on TV (draw 31-31); exciting and showed two very different styles of play.
