Hyacinths and me

This is not the picture I was going to blip today, but I was outvoted. The vote was 1 for and 1 against, but as I don't seem to have the casting vote, I lost. I was going to either use a close shot of a Carnation or a different shot of these same Hyacinths, both of which came out very well. However it was decided by others that this was a more interesting photograph because you can see me taking the picture. So here is my first blip that includes me (apart from the one on 1st January, where I am the shadow).

Decided not to photograph snow today for two reasons. Firstly there are loads of snow pictures on Blipfoto and secondly there's no snow where I am.
