Wilding

I am thoroughly enjoying reading this book given to me by a friend. Living in a place that sometimes feels void of open spaces there are so many pockets of hope for the English countryside to return to nature, and I see it every day around where I live. The bird calls in the morning always makes me wake up with a smile.
Today I managed to cycle a good few miles and with the busway flooded, a work colleague who lives nearby offered to show me a detour to avoid the flooded areas in the RSPB reserve.
Today is our mom’s birthday but unfortunately she had to work so I am off to London tomorrow to see her.
