The way the Field Studies Centre holiday works is that they provide breakfast and a tableful of sandwich-making supplies in the morning, a meal in the evening and a selection of activities in the mornings and afternoons on a repeating cycle for people to choose as required. We had some poking-at-aquatic-beasts in rockpools in the morning and a wee chat about insects in the evening and met up with the cousins in Millport in the afternoon
