Blackford Pond

What a relief to see some blue sky today.  Took myself down to the allotment to see if the shed is still standing and spent a pleasant couple of hours tidying and digging.   Plenty of work to be done in the next few weeks.

Lots of families throwing bread at the swans on Blackford Pond despite visible evidence of the rat infestation.  

Back home I was beyond excited to see a female redcap on my bird feeders.  The switch from cheapo mixed birdseed to sunflower seeds has made everyone very happy.
