Shadows

The shadows were lengthening as we left the golf club after lunch today. There were a few people on the practice ground, hoping maybe that the course will dry out in the week to come. Normous hasn’t played since September because he needs a buggy and there have been no buggies allowed for a long time.
It was a sociable lunch with N’s elderly golf friends. N and I drank a toast to Anna’s birthday.
