Not quite the worst walk----

---- but close.
We ventured into the Abbey Meadows  for an afternoon walk, thinking that we hadn't had any serious rain in the past few days  and the paths would have dried out a little.
Wrong!
Did we have heavy ran during the night? The conditions  were worse than ever, the main path was impassable without waders again and the mud was now semi liquid. I think it will be two or three weeks before we try again.
