Île de Leith

Spent the morning up town talking about coordinate geometry and vectors, followed by handing over to DG for the next session over a beer and a toastie in the Waverley.

The weather was pretty horrible, although apparently much worse across in Glasgow where there was a big indy march. D said that the market was about half its usual stalls and those were all hunkered down against the wall of the Custom House.

The island in the middle of the water of Leith had diminished in size considerably by the time I got back. We shall not speak of the football.....
