Wallington reflections
We've been members of the National Trust for a while now, and last year didn't really make much use of our membership. So this year we've resolved to to make the effort to get out and go more often.
To Wallington late morning, after MrM had been to inspect his squirrel feeders. First a bite to eat in the cafe, then a wander round the grounds. Very few snowdrops as yet, but aconites and cyclamen in flower and, in the woods, some primroses on a sunny bank. Rather like the tree reflections in the pond - they seem to echo the silver birch trunks.
Settled down in anticipation to watch Vera on TV this evening only to discover that ITV on Freeview was more pixels than programme. Then discovered that ITV doesn't cast live TV. Grrr. It'll have to be tomorrow on catch up then.
