Next year's Christmas card

Classic snowy scene across one of our fields. Most of our cows are in the barns, snuggled up in deep straw. But we still have a few cows on the top of the Downs. Our farm manager drove up there several times in the tractor today (he's a much better tractor driver than we are) to take them some silage to eat and to break the ice on the cattle troughs so that they could drink. I mentioned a couple of weeks' ago the problem of trying to find white cows in the fog, but now we are trying to find them in the snow!
