Another day, another family photo...
I know, I know... and the light was so bad I had to push the shot +3 to get anything at all - and of course what I did get was very noisy. You can't ask a toddler to sit still for a longer exposure, and it's not my birthday yet.
Yes, changing camera systems means all my flash units are redundant (and indeed already eBay'd) But there is hope, as there are boxes with Godox printed on them that I am being very good about not touching.
Mum's with us for a few more days, largely because I have no free time to drive her the five hundred mile round trip home, but she's been no trouble at all. I know that's not always the case with elderly parents.
She had a lovely time with her great grand-daughter ivy (number two great grand-daughter in fact but two year old Evie lives even further away over to the south-east. Here's probably the final family photo for now.
I think today's shot is something of a milestone: five years! Blipfoto remains a key part of my day and a focus not only of my mostly rotten but occasionally almost decent photography and waffle but of a friendly and caring community.
Thank you all.
