Bagged up barley ....

A dry day mostly so spent the day mixing slurry in the slatted shed ready to pump up to the storage tank . Had to shut 60 heifers outside while I did this. By 8 pm tonight they were getting hungry so didn’t take much persuading back into the shed !
This is the feeding bagged up ready for tomorrow morning. I am using about a ton a day just now , but that doubles once we start feeding ewes at the end of the month. Wish I had a pound for every bag I’ve carried over the years ! Most of it would go to the chiropractor any way !
