Community craft project

The pop-up craft group, Pink Chair Engagement, floated the idea of a community picnic blanket with the various groups in the village each making a square for it. Today we met to see what it might look like. Over 20 groups have made squares representing what they do. They are very varied - some are drawn, some embroidered, some have appliqué  - clearly a popular project. Now it needs to be sewn together - the pic shows the squares being laid out to see how it could be done - more will be done next weekend.
