Sunset and Snow on the Seventh

The threatened snow finally arrived this afternoon at Archerfield, East Lothian.

It has been bitterly cold all day and both courses were closed because of frost...

...nobody walks on the course when it's frosty!

There wasn't a lot of gardening to be done either, so I joined some of the greenies standing around a bonfire clearing up after the chainsaw had taken down some more of the dangerous trees left after last years storms.

Some of them (the tree not the greenkeepers) came home with me for the weekend!
