Frankie in the snow

We got a new pup for Christmas. She’s a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and her name is Frankie. It took us over two weeks to name her because we all wanted to agree and wanted her name to suit her.

Frankie, is pretty amazing but man is she a lot of work. I raised two kids and I have to say raising a puppy has been harder than I remember. She has four speeds: play, eat, bathroom and sleep.

Regardless of how much work she is I look forward to this adventure. I have gotten into a funk the last two years and feel hopeful that she will help me to feel more positive and purposeful.
