New year new start? Paris would warm to me as I warmed more and more to the French way of living. 'Foolhardy naivety'...then 'mild shock and horror' when my French colleague warned me that it is from January that 'l'Hiver s'installe vraiment' (Winter really sets itself upon cracking its CRUEL WHIP OF ICE) and that for the moment, things are only going to s'empirer (get worse)... nothing quite like a morceau of French optimism to lift the spirits. On the other hand, it is all quite pretty! However I've gone for a... simple... urban touch...
