Motatapu River Valley

Seventeen walkers today.  We drove up to the gorge and walked along the river.  It is a beautiful valley and river.  There are 119 steep steps to get down to the river and, of course, it seemed a lot more steps on the way back!  One extra of a walker cooling off before the steps back up and another of the river itself.
