Shasta Daisy .....

..... blooming beautifully on my bank.

I managed to save a cutting of these daisies from an abandoned garden in Christchurch's CBD and now I've got seven large patches. It obviously does well in this climate. They're so pretty! and I love them.

It's like my own earthquake memorial. It'll be nine years since the big February quakes, on 22nd February. It doesn't seem like yesterday any longer, but it’s been a strange time for all that.
