Waiheke Island

As many of you know, I have posted many a blip from an aeroplane, but never before have I posted one from a 10 seater plane!! We went to Great Barrier Island by ferry and came back to Auckland today by plane. I was SO grateful that we had good weather as I don't think I would have coped in bad weather. The extras show a footpath to the airport, arrivals and departures, my seat on the plane, inside the cabin and the plane we flew in. The pilot gave us a safety briefing, helped load the luggage, closed all the doors and we all donned ear protectors against the noise, and off we went! It was a truly memorable experience!
