SNOW! :-(

I very rarely use the "H" word .......... but I really really do not like snow! I know a photographer should just LOVE the snowy landscapes, frozen lakes, ice laden hedgerows.....not this one! Last Saturday on my 8 miler Nordic walk got absolutely drenched in rain like stair rods......fine ....... But snow ......NO!

But Blips called and I know dear Blipals you will be expecting winter wonderlands! Therefore not to disappoint I braved the elements with LG in tow. My goodness the snow was deep but I persevered and (don't tell anyone!) I enjoyed it!!! Snapped 64 photos, landscapes, trees, streams, but I was really pleased with this shot, my trusty teasels! This photo is as shot, just a tiny crop of a bramble who tried to sneak in at the last moment!! I guess the frost bitten hands, red beacon of a nose and chilblain ridden toes was a small price to pay!


No haven't forgotten my rules to celebrate getting older ......
