End of the Line?
The picture bottom right is taken at the end of the line. Where the part of the Royal Deeside Railway used for pleasure rides ends. I am standing on the level crossing. Behind me some of the equipment used and also the engine bottom left, which I think has probably reached the end of the line also. It looks almost beyond renovation. The volunteers who run the Royal Deeside Railway may have bitten off a project too far if they bought this for restoration.
Top left shows the station and top right one of the working locomotives.
Dry but overcast today. We had a walk along the path alongside the railway before stopping at the Milton Brasserie for a coffee and cake.
