Waiting for dinner

Nothing fancy about this picture other than the colours that caught my eye and the pleasure that comes with someone other than me preparing dinner. When your kids get to the age where they can prepare an actual meal for you now and then, you really savour that time when you would otherwise be furiously running about the kitchen trying to pull dinner together. For me that was tonight. I got to enjoy that feeling of “waiting for dinner”.
