First visit to the Black Spout Woods this year, one of the first places we visited in Pitlochry and since then a firm favourite. There are a multiple ways through the woods and I really enjoy observing the changes and the seasons and weather change. Today the moss looked especially bright.

This evening the Moulin and Pitlochry History Circle's Festive Supper beckons. It is taking place in a local hotel which we havent visited so am looking forward to trying the food there.  

The History Circle is one of the local groups I have joined since moving here - others being the University of Third Age (who are having a January Blues lunch on Wednesday) and the Pitlochry Supper Club. I also plan to volunteer at the heritage centre and the theatre so lots to keep me busy.
