Speed Limit

Just for today the Isle of Wight has been re-named the Isle of White. We awoke to what can only be described as a blizzard with high winds and horizontal snowfall. When it eased off later in the morning there was 3-4 inches of lying snow which caused the usual chaos.

Around midday the conditions enabled a walk through the wintery landscape past Osborne House to Whippingham. Some pics from the walk can be seen HERE

I thought there would be many snowy blips today so tried to find something a little different. Any motorists doing this speed this morning would have got into serious difficulty especially the idiot I spotted trying to control his white van whilst talking on his mobile phone!

The rest of the day was spent packing for the Alpine cold whilst trying to keep the weight down. Not something I find easy to do.
