Colour for January

This is one of my favourite January colours, probably because it's so unexpected.  Not all ivy goes this colour of course, but it can.  Isn't it lovely against that green?

Brendan hasn't given us anything much in the way of rain yet, though the dark clouds and the wind are picking up and flouncing across the sky.  I've had to lay the bin down on the ground outside because it always blows over in the middle of the night in this kind of weather and I do NOT want to go outside in my jammies to chase paper and old tin cans!
