A little brown bird

Not the most pleasant of days weatherwise ....... it rain this morning .... then became grey & showery ....... so we weren't too sure whether we would get wet if we went out for our walk!

We ended up taking a trip to the garden centre instead ....... got 2 new bird feeders ...... some Allium & another plant ....... but I can't remember the name of that one!

This little Dunnock was busy hopping about near the gate ....... I managed to get this photo of it ...... the other two I took were just a blur as it moved as I took them!

Think they need to get out & do some weeding there!

We took a 'scenic' route back ...... saw several Little Egrets .... but each time we stopped the car so I could get a photo they flew off!

Not a bad afternoon .... though I did miss our walk ...... it did stay fine so we could have gone! Never mind ...... hopefully we'll get one next weekend!
