By the way the TV is portraying it, you'd think that the end of the world is nigh. It's only some snow in January FFS.

I remember being waist up in snow when younger and nobody bothering. Nowadays a 1cm snowfall is classified as a Red warning and people are told not to travel. Namby pamby nanny state nonsense!

Took a drive, yes, a "non essential" one, in the non evident snowstorm the weather ******* were predicting and could only find just a little bit up on the highest point near our house where this old cottage is located. They really do need to improve their weather forecast, as its about as accurate as me guessing.

Theres a wee bit lying out on the street at the moment, so hopefully lots more will fall overnight. I do love the now and would like to go out in the 4x4 and play ;)
Even woke up at 5 this morning listening to see if i could hear any cars driving along the street in snow (no such luck).

Very tasty dinner tonight, this time the hairy bikers Lamb tagine. A while since we last had lamb, but will be having this one again really soon as it was great.

Breakfast: Special K cereal
Lunch: HB Golden veg soup, small ham salad sandwich
Dinner: HB Lamb tagine (extremely tasty!), 3 rum & diet cokes ;)
Snacks: 2 ham slices.
