Crowd Farming
I can thoroughly recommend it for buying fruit direct from farmers in Spain. This box of navel oranges arrived this morning. Ordering is easy and you get refunds if the farmer can't meet the commitment to ship.
The fruit is as fresh as it could be and is not subject to what constitutes rules of 'perfection.' Thus the process minimises food waste.
And it tastes marvellous.
With Storm Brendan on its way and a minor cold materialising and also being aware of muddy ground underfoot, I didn't take William and Basil for a walk in the woods this morning. We watched cBeebies and read a story instead.
