Snow in the garden

We went to town to have a belated birthday lunch with a friend whose birthday is the day before G's. Good food and lots of laughs.
Snow photos today!  We did get snow overnight and there's a bit more in the forecast. No problems on the roads, unlike people driving on the mainland. Kalyn had gone home yesterday afternoon for her other grandmother's birthday and left to go back to SFU around 7pm. The road up to campus was a mess and she had to stay in a hotel overnight. We were glad to hear this morning that she had made it back up. Krista did get in for her class this morning, driving their truck, but she wrote that there were people stuck even in the middle of the road and lots of emergency vehicles. Problems at the ferries too, after two days of cancelled sailings because of high winds. Glad we don't have to go anywhere!
If you look closely at the main blip (taken through the window), you can see some garlic sticking up in the bed on the left. Should be okay though.
Extras: snow on the fence with some tiny icicles on the fascia board; G clearing the snow off the satellite dish; snow on a rock pile. First two were also taken through a window.
