Edinburgh Silhouette
Edinburgh sparkled in brilliant sunshine today and not a cloud was seen in the sky all day. It's bitterly cold, though, and at 5pm snow was seen, falling in great big clumps.
As well as getting a chunk of paperwork done at work, I saw a friend for lunch ( doublenougat.com ) and heard all of her news, including a report of the opening of her exhibition, Making The List, at the Lillie Gallery in Milngavie. A place-name to make a non-Scot quake: spelt Milngavie, pronounced Mill guy. Don't ask why, it's a posh thing.
Then an exhilarating walk home, accompanied by my 7D. I took this shot looking west from Dean Bridge. Edinburgh is such a beautiful city. I love living here.
