He stands atop Wellington art gallery. I don't know much about him, but he drew my attention, and I have noticed that there looks to be some interesting exhibitions on in there at the moment.
Otherwise, it was a quiet morning, followed by taking the kids into town, to get them out of the way for a while, with the promise of ice cream, and a couple of new books each.
