Anchor Aweigh

More like anchor away, as photographically I have moved it away from where I saw it, to the Aberdeen Battery overlooking the harbour.

The storm passed over during the night and today was calm and relatively cool at about 6º most of the day.

A longish walk in the afternoon failed to inspire me on the photographic front. I passed the anchor during the walk and took a photograph as my back up picture for the day..

This is one of around 50 anchors auctioned off for charity in 2017. I took pictures of several when they were displayed around the city prior to being auctioned. As far as I can see this is not one of those I photographed at the time.
