Left home at 6.15 to be at the house for 8. Have a horrible cold so didn’t sleep very well anyway. Shower panel and delivery of kitchen all went well. Man turned up to fit new electricity meter to no 83 , but the cable wasn’t live. Phoned Western Power , who are responsible for supply up to meters ( I have learned a lot doing this) . They have to come onsite with a team to investigate- probably next week. We have to leave the rather large hole the builders have dug until they come. Shouldn’t hold anything up but would have liked to get that ticked off. Carpet estimator hadn’t arrived ( at 5pm) when j arrived home so left him to wait and set off home. Wild, wet and windy drive!
