Good grief it's cold. And is getting even colder with heavy rain! All the media  is telling how it's it's colder in Madrid than in Helsinki (well one source called it Hensilk, but I assume they meant Helsinki.  :-)

At the moment it seems it's gonna rain for 5 days! You saw how the former wetland area looked. The birds will definitely have lots of nesting opportunities after these new rains. Also good is that the streets will be cleaner after heavy rain.

Terrible is the humidity in the house and the fact that nothing dries. Nothing. So after rainy period I have loads of laundry. All our clothes and then in addition all the doggy towels and sofa covers and whatnot.

Also not so good is that my husband's parents are arriving tomorrow for 4 weeks and it seems that the stay will have few dry days, but from Saturday be hit by our little monsoon.
