Dog day afternoon

Quiet day as the weather has been appalling . Wind, rain and freezing cold so not able to get out today.
Instead I get to entertain the dogs. An hour spent throwing Bette’s toy slipper back and forth. Hope it’s been a better day where you are.

Iraq update
Had a FaceTime from Matty today. The troops are spending their enforced down time boxing, playing football and jujitsu.
They still haven’t had any news as to wether the Iraqi government are going to expel them from the country.
The good news is that the rest of his company who were based up in irbil will be joining them at their camp later today and that includes Matty’s best mate so he’s looking forward to meeting up with him.
Otherwise all quiet over there.
