Tall stories
This little wonder has joined the fleet as a carry around. I've been using it for a few days now. It produces good results, a bit fiddly to start with, but it is great. Today we went to the accountant for our annual chat re the business and tax. The pain was not too bad. Our accountant has great stories about (anonymous) clients. Last year she told us about the farmer who turned up on her doorstep on Christmas morning expecting her to call the Revenue on his behalf (he got short shrift). Today she told us about another farmer who brings in his annual invoices/receipts in an old cardboard box. "I just keep the box in the corner and throw all the bills in there". Said cardboard box was duly delivered last year to the accountant. (ALERT, WHAT FOLLOWS IS NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH) After the farmer had left, they noticed a strange smell emanating from the box. It turned out that a poor wee kitten had climbed into the box some weeks before, gone to sleep and passed over to the big cat place in the sky. Poor wee thing. The accountant's staff bravely donned gloves, extricated the paperwork and gave kitty a dignified send off.
