The Moon Over the First

Just finished playing and losing the first hole of the morning. Went on to lose quite a few more, so many in fact that we called it a day early and adjourned for a coffee. The moon stayed up for quite a while though.
Tax returns are done, always interesting to see what new, cunning wrinkle has been added to the online self-assessment pages, and rebates are claimed. Now that’s always a good result!
Then tenpin tonight, nul points yet again. We are firmly ensconced at the foot of the table. Not even an exciting German manager would be able to save us from relegation this season. Sigh.
