A Room with a View!

Cockle Row cottages in Groomsport have been restored to display items reflecting fishermen's dwellings at the turn of the last century. They are open to the public in the summer months. There is a renewed interest in the skill of thatching, which is great to see. The tide level at the harbour was so high, it was impossible to walk along it! A bright sunny day, but bitterly cold. Glad to be back home with a mug of hot chocolate and mini marshmallows on top!!
