For want .....
of anything else ..... my Whibal card! It turned into a really nice day. My husband was working from home and so we took Little B to the woods at lunchtime. We decided to extend his walk as it was so nice out but soon the noise of gunfire and explosions started up (army land) and his tail went down and he began to scurry ahead of us and so we admitted defeat and took a short cut back home! He had a nice time though and I was glad I wasn't on my own as it needs two people to track him should he decide to hot foot home! I got some window cleaning jobs done and also tried to dismantle the wreath that Little Ro made for Christmas at a wreath-making class. It's been sitting around for weeks now and had begun to smell. I thought it would be an easy job that I could do outside over the garden recycling bin but as I couldn't disentangle the battery operated lights she had wound through it I ended up cutting them with the secateurs and throwing them away, together with the ribbon, feathers and glittery pine cones. I think it would be more ecological to buy a reusable one next year!
