Having found 10 cafe loyalty cards in my purse why did I choose today to visit the cafe (Tinderbox in Princes Square) that does not offer such a card?

The answer lies, not in the cuppa, but the delicious raspberry friand. L and I would usually share but she was off meeting friends today and I was on church lunches ....... so with very little difficulty I ate the whole cake myself.

Another miserable day ..... it was almost dark when I got on the bus to come home from town just before 3 o'clock. Roll on Saturday ..... first day for ages that we don't seem to be scheduled for rain.
