A Blink More Light

Jim came out today from the City to give us an update of all the Kirkwall news.  He was ably assisted by ZaZa who burst out of a cake.  Topics included: The Magnus Festival, how much housework to do, reading novels v Nonfiction, artists trying to make a living in Stromnesss, the closure of CPL in Orkney (and the pending reinvention of ‘Orkney Cats’), walking in Galashiels, the passing of Moxy.

As per his contract Jim drank his ‘usual’.  He was calling for Lagavulin, I couldn’t find it but CMC remembered it is across in the Hoy drinks cabinet.  Jim therefore had to slum it and revert to Glenfarclas 15yrs and Aberlour A’Bunadh. He warned us he’ll be back next year.  We have reserved his seat
