After the wettest, most miserable night and flooding all over the roads I thought I'd take a walk this afternoon to see how high the water-gauge-that-looks-like-a-wine-glass was.  However, someone has emptied it, that is certainly not an accurate recording of the last 12 hours rainfall.

Still, there was stuff to celebrate today.  Ben has landed himself a well paid, short term job that will enable him to begin to pay off the travelling debts (and get him out of the house).
