Snow at Palmers Rough

Moderately taxing day. Dire warnings of snow, but nothing much around at school run time so children delivered to school and I headed off to work. Three hours later we were under 6 inches of snow and more still coming down - this is not normal in suburbia - so the schools duly closed and I had to set off to fetch the kids. Two hours later (a 15 minute run usually) I got everybody home and went back to work - this time on foot. I had my doubts if I would get my car off the drive or out of the work car park later. At least it was quiet at work, and the walk home was dry, crisp and picturesque!
