I don't often visit camera clubs (I don't understand competitive photography), but when a Pulitzer Prize winner is speaking just down the road, I'll make an exception. 
It was a powerful and thought-provoking conversation with Cathal McNaughton, especially hearing about the effect that taking pictures had had on his mental health. For most of us hobbyists, photography is therapy, for someone who has photographed in Kashmir and the Rohingyas in Bangladesh, the therapy is needed afterwards.
